Ben Crocker was born and raised in Franklin, Kentucky. He graduated with honors from the University of Texas with a degree in Mechanical Engineering. Ben then earned a law degree from the University of Kentucky.

After law school Ben worked for the Lexington, Kentucky law firm of Greenbaum, Doll and McDonald in the litigation department. He later moved to Bowling Green, Kentucky and worked for the law firm of Hixon, Downey and Travelsted. In 1997 Ben Crocker and attorney Penny Travelsted formed the law firm of Travelsted & Crocker, where Ben served as managing partner until his partner retired and he founded Crocker Law Offices. Ben Crocker has always focused his practice on litigation, including personal injury claims, commercial trucking cases, nursing home abuse and neglect cases, wrongful death claims and workers' compensation claims.

Ben is a member of the Barren River Coordinating Counsel on Elder Abuse. In 2005 he and the counsel were jointly awarded the Public/Private Partnership Award by the Southeastern Association of Area Agencies on Aging for their work to promote awareness and prevention of elder abuse and exploitation.

In 2007 the Lawyers Care Volunteer Attorney Program of Warren County recognized Ben Crocker for his pro bono work on behalf of nursing home residents. For his volunteer efforts on behalf of the elderly, Ben was awarded the Pro Bono Publico Award "for dedication and commitment to the principles of pro bono services in an effort to make equal justice for all a reality."

Ben coaches youth basketball for Bowling Green Parks and Recreation and has also coached youth soccer for Southern Kentucky Soccer (SOKY).
