Personal Background
Cynthia Weaver Crocker grew up as an “Army Brat”
and lived in many places, including Texas, Maryland, Kansas,
England, and Korea. She considers Hardin County, Kentucky
to be her hometown, however, because her father retired from
the United States Army there and she graduated from North
Hardin High School. Cyndi is the daughter of Colonel Mike
Weaver, a successful builder, a Kentucky State Representative
and candidate for the United States Congress, and Lois Weaver,
a retired high school history teacher and principal. Cyndi’s
parents have made Elizabethtown, Kentucky their home. Cyndi
has three sisters, Rebecca, Tess and Kate.
Cyndi married her husband, Ben Crocker, while they were classmates
at the University of Kentucky College of Law. Cyndi and Ben
make their home in Bowling Green, Kentucky with their three
sons, Alex, Drew, and Reed Crocker.
Academic Background
Cyndi served as President of her senior class at North Hardin
High School where she graduated in 1983. She furthered her
education by attending the University of Kentucky, obtaining
a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science. While at the
University of Kentucky, Cyndi’s peers elected her as
President of the Student Body and she served on the University’s
Board of Trustees.
Cyndi continued her education at the University of Kentucky
College of Law, where after her first year, the college awarded
her with a scholarship as the outstanding student of Torts,
an area of law that includes personal injury and wrongful
death. She graduated from law school in 1992.
Professional History
Cyndi and Ben remained in Lexington, Kentucky for the first
four years after law school. When their first son was born,
Cyndi worked part time at the University of Kentucky, counseling
students with legal concerns including personal injury, landlord/tenant
disputes and other legal matters.
In 1996, Cyndi and Ben decided to move to Bowling Green,
Kentucky and Cyndi accepted a position as an injury lawyer
at a large personal injury firm. Cyndi worked there representing
injury clients for nine years. In 1998, she became the managing
attorney of the personal injury department and eventually
supervised attorneys and staff for offices in Bowling Green,
Louisville, and Lexington, Kentucky and Nashville, Tennessee.
In 2005, Cyndi and Ben proudly partnered to form Crocker
Law Offices, PLLC.
