Crocker Law & BIAK Helmet Event

The Bowling Green Skate Park is scheduled to open Saturday, April 14 and Crocker Law will be there to give away free helmets to children. Crocker Law is co-sponsoring this give away with our friends at the Kentucky Brain Injury Association. Volunteers will be present from both groups to fit the helmets, which are Tony Hawk brand and designed for skaters.

We will return to the skate park for a special event on June 30, where we will give away helmets again. If you cannot come to either event you can come by the office between April 10 and June 30 and pick one up. Your child must be present so that we can get the helmet correctly fitted.

Crocker Law wishes all the area youth a great time at the new skate park and a safe time whenever they skate!

On September 8th and 9th Crocker Law headed out to the Bowling Green Balloon Classic to support a great community event and meet up with friends and former clients. Ben and Cyndi were there with their children, Alex, Drew and Reed, and Crocker Law employees, Bryse, Kay, Kim and Anna. Crocker Law gave balloons to the children and offered guests a chance to sign up for our newsletter and register for a $100 Wal-Mart gift card. We would like to congratulate our winner, Jana Hanks of Auburn, Kentucky.

We would like to thank everyone who registered or came by to visit us, especially our friends who got stuck in the rain with us. We experienced what had to be a Guinness record for the most people under one tent in a rainstorm. Still, it was a great time and we look forward to the next event.

Crocker Law Offices in the Fight Against Elder Abuse

All people – no matter how young or old – deserve to be safe from harm by those who live with them or care for them. But every year in America 2.1 million older Americans are victims of abuse and neglect.

Ben Crocker and Michelle Hines accept the Public/Private Partnership Award from the Southeastern Association of Area Agencies on Aging.

Crocker Law Offices has joined the fight against elder abuse. Ben Crocker has been nationally recognized for his work as a member of the Barren River Local Coordinating Counsel on Elder Abuse, with whom he has sponsored several projects to raise awareness of the causes and signs of abuse and neglect. The Counsel also works to promote legislation to protect seniors and trains bank personnel to recognize signs of financial exploitation.

May is Senior Citizen Month, also designated Elder Abuse Awareness Month.

This May come by Crocker Law Offices and pick up a silver pin to show your support for our seniors and to help raise awareness of this issue. Most importantly, review the signs of abuse and neglect and report any suspected case to the authorities.
