Personal Background
Benjamin David
Crocker is from the small town of Franklin, Kentucky. Ben is
the son of the late Ken Crocker, who was a well-respected local
veterinarian, and Helen Crocker, who is a retired history professor
and accomplished artist (watercolor), now living in Scottsville,
Kentucky. Ben has five brothers, Scott, Kelly, Dan, Tim and
Steve.
Ben considers his involvement in the community a high priority.
He coaches soccer and basketball for several local youth leagues.
Ben also serves on the Local Coordinating Counsel on Elder
Abuse where he and the Counsel recently received national
recognition for working together to help prevent abuse and
neglect of seniors.
Ben met his wife, Cynthia Weaver Crocker, while they were
classmates in law school. They make their home in Bowling
Green, Kentucky with their three sons, Alex, Drew, and Reed.
Ben and Cyndi formed Crocker Law Offices, PLLC, a personal
injury firm, in the summer of 2005.
Education
Ben graduated from Franklin Simpson High School as valedictorian
of his senior class in 1984. He went to the University of
Texas on an academic scholarship where he studied Mechanical
Engineering and graduated with top honors in 1988.
After working briefly as an engineer, Ben decided his true
calling was to practice law. He received his law degree from
the University of Kentucky in 1992.
Work History
After law school, Ben worked as a litigation attorney at a firm
in Lexington, Kentucky. After, four years with that firm, he
decided to move closer to home and accepted a litigation position
at a firm in Bowling Green, Kentucky.
In 1997, Ben formed a partnership with Penny Travelsted.
Travelsted and Crocker was a succesful firm practicing in
the areas of insurance disputes, personal injury and nursing
home abuse and neglect.
In 2005 Ben and Cyndi proudly formed the injury firm of Crocker
Law Offices, PLLC. |
